Koehler Plumbing covers a specific piece of central Ohio, and we would rather name it honestly than publish a map with twenty-five pins on it.
Everything starts from the shop in Powell, in southern Delaware County. That one address explains the shape of this list: eight towns spread across four counties, all of them a drive Keith is willing to make and none of them far enough away that we stop knowing the housing stock.
The big multi-trade outfits in this market advertise service areas of twenty-five cities or more. That number tells a homeowner nothing except that somebody has a large dispatch board. What is actually useful is knowing that the water in Powell and Lewis Center comes from Del-Co at seven to eight grains, that Westerville softens its own supply before it reaches you, that Delaware runs five-inch clay sewer laterals where the rest of the region runs four or six, and that a mid-1980s house in Hilliard may well have grey polybutylene behind the drywall.
Each city page below says what the water is like there, what the housing stock is, and what usually goes wrong because of both. They are ordered roughly by how often we are actually in each town.

Powell is not a line on a service-area map for us. The shop address is here, the trucks are parked here overnight, and Keith has answered this phone from this town since 1996. Most Powell calls are a short drive from the office, which is why they usually fit into the same day.

Dublin is fifteen minutes down Sawmill from the shop, and it is the city where guessing gets a plumber into the most trouble. The address tells you almost nothing until you know when the house was built.

Lewis Center is ten minutes up the road from the shop, which makes it one of the easiest places on our list to reach on the same day. It is also the most predictable, because of how it was built.

Delaware is the county seat, the oldest housing stock we work in regularly, and the place where a plumber who has only worked new subdivisions shows up with the wrong equipment.

Hilliard is the furthest city on our list from the shop, and we will say that plainly rather than pretend otherwise. It is about half an hour out, so non-emergency work here gets scheduled properly rather than squeezed between closer calls.

Plain City is the one place on our list where the first question is not what is wrong, it is where your water comes from. A single 43064 address might be on the village system, on a well out in the township, or on a service that was installed the year before last.

We get asked about Sunbury, Galena, Ostrander, Marysville, Upper Arlington and the north side of Columbus. There is no page for those, because we would only be repeating ourselves. Call and ask instead - the honest answer depends on the job.
